Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958, in extremely poor conditions. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer is the youngest of a four-child family frequently attended the theater performances of her mother and was very much impressed. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood living in British Columbia after her mom moved there along with four other children. Jennifer did not attend school, though as a youngster she was very artistic. In Canadian schools, her experiences led to her being frequently the victim of bullying. As her love for theatre was fading, she began to participate in shows to support her mom. The mother of all her children to discover an appreciation for the arts. After that, she immediately began taking action.
