Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was just a child. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online following.
